Height Safety Training
Height Safety & Safety Line Systems need to ensure that a person cannot fall or can survive a fall when working at height. In the event of a fall, fall-arrest must be such that impact on the body resulting from the deceleration forces are transmitted so that the human body can survive with the minimum of serious injury.
It is therefore required to ensure that appropriate height safety equipment be set up and that persons are trained in the correct use and operation of the equipment.
The Height Safety Program covers:
Regulatory Requirements
Risk Assessment & Hierarchy of Controls
When Fall Prevention is Required
Height Safety Equipment
Safe Anchoring
Emergency Procedures and Rescue Requirements
Tailored training programs are available that are targeted to specific needs based on risk assessments.
