Course Dates For First Aid & CPR Training
Sydney Safety Training conduct the one day provide first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training course in line first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and othe Australian national peak clinical bodies for pre booked groups. We can conduct this training in your workplace or at our training centre in Villawood. This is not a public programme, this is a group booking programme only. At the completion of the days training successful candidates receive a a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment through our RTO – RTO Safety Training #40992.
Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (HLTAID009) Valid for ONE YEAR Only, then must be renewed
This course provides the skills to recognise and then manage a casualty who is unconscious and is not breathing. CPR is a lifesaving technique which can sustain life until an ambulance arrives. St John recommends, in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, that CPR skills are recertified every 12 months.
During this training you perform CPR on a life size mannequin and child. You will also be instructed on how to use a defibrillator machine.
Provide first aid (HLTAID011) Valid for 3 YEARS Only, then must be renewed
This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies, including managing the unconscious casualty, performing CPR, controlling bleeding and managing other life threatening situations. It is suitable to both people in workplaces and members of the public who want to be able to manage an emergency first aid situation.
