Bob Taylor
SST is
led by Bob Taylor, who spent the first 12 years of his working life as an officer in the Australian
Army. He was a rifle platoon commander and a mortar platoon 2IC before passing selection for the Australian
SAS. In the Regiment he was a Troop Commander of a Long Range Vehicle Troop, free fall parachutist,
static line stick commander, demolitions user, assault swimmer and a small craft handler. After 3
years in the Regiment Bob was sent on exchange for 2 years with the US Navy's SEAL Team in San Diego
as their Training Cell Officer. On his return to Australia he was the Adjutant of 1 Commando Regiment.
Upon leaving the Army Bob became a principal of Frog Dive Scuba Centres, a large retail scuba training
company in Sydney. Over the past ten years he has had a professional relationship with Life and Rescue
International (LRI), resulting in the creation of Sydney Safety Training, a provider of OH&S programs
on behalf of LRI in Sydney.
Bob is a great communicator who ensures every student is given the opportunity of understanding
the course material, and demonstrating the necessary skill level to effectively take this training
back to the work place. |
